I confess that have not been using my Home Management Binder. (here's where I blogged about it again)
As a matter of fact when I see it I get that sinking feeling I usually get when I know I need to organize something but don't feel like it.
I still use this most of the time:
But rather than everything having a home in the binder it looks more like this:
Little piles of paper everywhere, recipes written down on little slips are getting on my nerves, notes to myself on things I'd like to blog about...
...and I'd like to find those slips because I can't remember what I wrote down and thus I can't think of anything to blog about!
In short - I need my brain back, because goodness knows (and everyone else around me that knows me) that I can't depend on that grey matter - because it's been demolished by sleep deprivation and baby hormones.
So, yesterday I finally took a few minutes and reorganized my HMB (home management binder).
I threw out the sections/pages that I'm not using and put all of those loose papers where they belong. I can't wait to use it today.
I use page protectors and dry erase pens for temporary lists!
So it's back to being organized again.
I have tabs for:
Schedules
Lists
Cleaning (where all of my cleaning recipes are - more on that next week!)
Meal planning (were I keep my 3-month supply of menus and recipes - more on that soon!)
Health and fitness (where I am tracking my weight loss)
Inspirational (where I keep my prayer list, inspirational quotes, and sermon notes)
DIY (where I keep DIY ideas and crochet patterns)
Shift Work Info (Stuff I find on Shift Work Disorder and coping with shift work)
Blog Ideas
Lesson Stuff (Where I track all of my lesson plans for my students, payment records, and lesson ideas)
Office Work (Where I track what I'm doing for the church's admin in English)
Children's Church (Where I keep track of coordinating Children's Church)
Preschool (Preschool ideas to do with Robi)
Avon (I'm an Avon lady!)
Plus I have a pocket folder and extra page protectors where I stuff take-out advertisements and random papers that need a home.

love the idea of page protectors and wipe off markers! so neat!
Thanks for commenting. It works really good for me.
I completely understand the little piles of paper everywhere and that little "sinking feeling" as you described it when you dread organizing them. I am a paper hoarder and it is an awful burden to bear :(
Yes it is. haha!!!! Thanks for linking up!!
